Form + Function is a narrative type specimen book based on Emil Ruder’s The Typography of Order. The five type classifications displayed in this book are oldstyle, transitional, modern, slab serif, and sans serif. Form + Function was created to show basic typographic crimes discussed in Ruder’s The Typography of Order. As well as showing basic type crimes, Form + Function was designed to display the International Typographic Style that Emil Ruder specialized in.
